Puppy 5.2.9 sound works fine on my dell latitude d600 that uses the snd-intel8x0 module without configuring alsa, but only for a few reboots without getting corrupted. I tried the latest alsa package, running alsaconf but all with no avail. /etc/init.d/alsa10 start says "load_state No soundcards found"
any ideas
