Hope this helps - I run puppy 2.16 on a compaq presario laptop with only 64 MB of RAM - I boot from a live cd, but have a save file on the gard drive. More importantly, dont try and install Chrome, Firefox,...etc. you need to stick to lightweight applications such as netsurf, dillo, Hv3 (all browsers) and your 64 MB laptop will happily continue to be useful for years to come......
