Puppy won't save connection settings at shutdown

When I shut down puppy it won't save the INTERNET startup information .I go through the whole process and when it says that it is saving this information . The computer clicks and it says something like the computer is no longer running. It is still running but the save process seems to be shut down and It doesn't save boot up information and I have to fill it all in every time I open puppy

What Puppy Version?
What type of Internet connection?
Have you created a Savefile? (you should be prompted to create one when you first shutdown/reboot)
