Ati Video drivers not loading.

Hi folks im running 5.2.8 on my hp dm3 i have downloaded the ati catalyst drivers but im not able to enable them. I have tried the troubleshooting file from quickpet. Im not able to use the xorgwizard to save the drivers form the choose file option, the screen test always fails.

I have 4 gigs of ram on this machine and a decent video card. Ive checked the wiki but havent found any pointers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im loving the new version and i have everything working except this last bit. Anyway sorry for the long post!
