This is getting really frustrating.
I've installed Puppy 5.0.1 on my hard drive multiple times (using frugal and full options) and I always have the same problem.
Whenever I try to install a .pet from links on this website (I've been trying to install conky, but it also happened when I tried to install Pidgin), I click the .pet and nothing happens. After I click it, the menus all work, but I can't launch any program (not even shutdown). All I can do is hard reset. Then, after I reset, it says it's loading the xorg.conf, but the screen flickers a bit and all I get is the black screen with the x cursor.
I've exhausted every option in the xorgwizard and still no luck.
I've reinstalled puppy six times now. Same thing happens every time.
