How do I remove Palemoon? Address Bar Doesn't Work

How do I completely remove Palemoon? Address Bar Doesn't Work.

I want to use Palemoon
but for some reason I don't know
The address bar doesn't work.
It looks normal
but doesn't respond
to the <Enter> key
or to the <Go> button
You only can write the url, that's all it allow you to do.


I removed and re-installed Paleemoon several times
The problem never got fixed.
Other browsers (Opera, Google Chrome, Waterfox)
work ok, but I want to use my Palemoon.

Please help me in this teeny weeny problem.

I use:

Distro: bionicpup64 8.0
Frugal

Can you give us a few details about the computer you are using?
Might help a bit to know what we have to work with as far as CPU,
RAM, video..
Other than that, we also need to know how you installed Palemoon???
Did you install from tarball directly from Palemoon, or did you use
one of the pre-made SFS files available from the forum? I use PM
with all my pups (ScPup, ArchPup, 32 bit) and I use the Palemoon
SFS files provided by peebee, which should also work properly with
Bionic.

In Bionicpup64 8.0
I started with the Pale Moon that is built in.
Used the Pale Moon internal update to update to latest version.


You using the latest version of Pale Moon?
V28.9.3

Seems to be working for me.

The enter key works when the address bar has a freshly entered address or the address is highlighted.

The go button shows when a address has been freshly entered.

I can type into or paste into the address bar.
Can press enter or the go button, to change to that address.

I have used Palemoon for quite a long with this same Distro, which is an ISO I downloaded from the site IBIBLIO (See image attached)

Let me see the specs of this machine

I've got every new update of Palemoon
and the update DOES NOT fix the problem.

Have you updated Bionicpup64 8.0 using Quickpet->Info->Bionicpup updates?

Pale Moon does not work as I describe in my above post?
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected :shock:

Or first export your bkmrks, then delete your "moonchild production" folders in /root & /root/.cache.
