Yahoo mail client borks BionicPup

#1 Post by ndujoe1 »

I participate in the World Community Grid sponsored by IBM. A collection of share CPU resources across for various computer projects that needs supercomputing.

The Boinc client runs in the background and only uses CPU time when it idle.

Of all the programs that I use on my Bionicpup64 and there are many, the Yahoo Client sucks all the cpu time when it is invoked and the Bionic client comes to a stop until I close the Yahoo mail thing.

I have noticed that since VERIZON bought-out Yahoo, that crap like this keeps happening. I had to close my mail account after 21 years... from bad to very bad to intolerable.
I'm sure there must be another portal... somewhere.
