Slightly experimental - official aufs patches not yet available so some manual intervention (see below) needed to get it to build..... new LTS Kernel 5.4
Kernel Release: 5.4.1-lxpup64
Build Date: Sat Nov 30 07:32:46 GMT 2019
Build GCC: 9.2.0
OS Support: GNU/Linux
Architecture: x86_64
SMP Enabled: Yes
Needs firmware (e.g. in fdrv)
From Here
Howto:
- use aufs-5.x-rcN
- only apply kbuild base mmap patches ; do not apply standalone patch
- manually replace /kernel-kit/aufs_sources/aufs5-kbuild.patch with attached before patches are applied
with thanks to @neko @ Porteus

I cannot get the new pc until 18 Dec.

done this year.

apply ./aufs5-standalone.patch too, if you have a plan to set
CONFIG_AUFS_FS=m. otherwise you don't need ./aufs5-standalone.patch.
