Hello all
I don't know where to place this ... hope it's the right place to get an answer. Chris, where are you?
I needed to repair a Windows 7 netbook which was infected with a rootkit malware. I found I had the same virus when I booted into my XP after 3 years. I can't re-install W7 on the netbook - it doesn't have optical disk drive. I don't want to use my infected XP with Windows software lest I transfer the virus to the new W7 installation. So I need to do everything from puppy.
I made an ISO from the Windows 7 disk using dd. Now I need to create an installer that will be USB based from the iso. How can I do that? Do I just copy the iso files and set the boot flag?
How create Windows 7 USB based installer from W7 iso?

The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
