Second, honestly, hasn't the Klan been on the decline for decades now
You would think so. But be wrong.

But then. You right wingers run with blinders on.

So much for asking for right wing violence examples.

Even if KKK numbers were in decline (and they're not), regardless - the troubling thing to me is that I see/feel elements of that dispicable, revolting mindset is seemingly gradually infecting the mainstream conciousness of America. Frightening, disappointing, ugliness. :(

I thought the actual registration for the KKK was extremely low and low-tech enough that the supposed Klan Database leak was an obvious hoax due to there apparently being no database for them.

Then again, I think the earliest forms of the leak claimed that Ben Garrison (a libertarian cartoonist) and Mac Tonight (80's and 90's McDonalds Mascot turned meme) were in the Klan.

As for examples of right-wing violence, I don't think anyone here denies that there is some violence out there, but I kinda think some of you might be operating with blinders when it comes to far-left violence :?

Just look to the riots that have erupted from BLM and the recent Antifa rioting, including at Berkley. I honestly don't think those are plants for the right-wing to elict sympathy, but represent a sickness in the west that I fear nobody will speak against until it's too late and the people we know, and the families they hold dear, die out forever. It's pretty sad honestly :(

But I will be honest, Trump does have some meme worthy faces :D

Now I must go and listen to some synthwave and use that to inspire my future puplet

It's the same story in Germany.

Bundesjustizminister (Minister of Justice) Heiko Maas set a tweet

Feine Sahne Fischfilet (feinesahne) is a German Punk Group under surveillance by Constitutional Protection Agency/Service of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

They are ugly Guys proclaiming violence as a legitimate tool of controversy. Also they stated in their song 'Staatsgewalt' (State Power):
Lyrics of Song Staatsgewalt wrote:Wir stellen unseren eigenen Trupp zusammen und schicken den Mob dann auf euch rauf. Die Bullenhelme – sie sollen fliegen. Eure Knüppel kriegt ihr in die Fresse rein
Translation wrote:We assemble our own squad and then we will send the mob up to you. Those helmets of the police - they are to fly. You'll get beaten into your faces by your own truncheons.

The left wing is telling people to punish the daughter for what the father is doing.
Are you people for real!

Who cares about the workers that work for the daughters company and their families. :!: :!: :!: :!:

Let's see.
The father kills someone, so his daughter or son should also go to jail.

I thought the Chick-fil-A restaurant boycott, a few years back, stopped all that.
Oh, that was about religion.
But it was just as left wing dumb to ever try.

Maybe Trumps daughter should start talking about being targeted, because she married a Jewish person.

President Trump seems to have no problem with that.
That alone tells me a lot about a person!!
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected

To those people "the end justifies the means" so they attack everything and everyone, even a 10-year old boy, simply because
he is the son of someone they don't agree with.

Its the same group of people who looked the other way and maintained their silence while police officers were gunned down in the streets.

Only sick people act like that, and only sick people support groups that act like that.

Hello all.

People all over the world have been using the "consecrated" expressions
"left-wing" and "right-wing" forever it seems, but what do they mean exactly?

Left of what? Right of what? (Replace "what" with "where" if you like.)

Somebody drew a line in the middle of the Parliament floor? Of the
Congress? Of the Assemblée Nationale? Of the Douma? Of the Bundestag?
Of the Eduskunta? Depends on the country, my friends.

Or is it a line in the sand that any wind can erase in an instant?

I'm supposedly left-wing but I agree that the US -- or any country --
should have a national voters list that nobody not even the individual
States or whatever they are called in Country X can rig or depart from.
Like we Canadians have, both at the provincial and federal levels.

It took us a while to get such a law, but it makes things a lot simpler
when comes elections time: it prevents election fraud across the board,
from any party or lobby group, or even organized crime. Plus it's fair and
clear for everyone.

Where does being on the side of fairness and clarity put you? Left or right?
It simply doesn't apply.

Ah I know. Those on the side of fairness and clarity for all should be
called "diagonalists" ! That sure is going to upset all those -- left and right
-- that don't think for themselves.

Just a thought. BFN.

It was a parliament or house of lords, where the royalists sat on the right side of the floor and the republicans -those who wanted to govern themselves- sat on the left side. The royalists were 'conservative' because they wanted things to remain the same. The republicans were the 'liberals' because they wanted change.

Since the USA evolved to be a federal republic with a limited federal government, american conservatives want to maintain that -especially the 'small' government.

In the world where there are wings, they don't work unless there is both a left and right wing.
Politics is similar in that without balance, the system won't fly.

Rokytnji,

If things do go that far, at least we both know you're in one of the best States overall for everything to go to hell in a handbasket and still end up ok. If there's one State you (using the "you" term for anything, anyone, any organization and/or entity)....you don't piss off and/or slight its residents, it is Texans. If things got really bad in the U.S. and over here in Yurrip, it'd be at the top of my list of places to come back and ride it all out

@amigo and all.

I meant that this division between right and left is meaningless and
non-productive in this day and age.

As it is now, this division taps on the stereotype of hate for each other.
Which is utterly silly -- and the hate feeding on itself becomes a vendetta.

(Warning: Maybe Americans won't get the jokes.)

On a more serious note:
The US will only be asking Canadians for minor adjustments to NAFTA.
Phew. The pact is what?, 30 years old, and needed maintenance anyway.

As an under-current, maybe Trump is intelligent enough not to upset the
country where a good percentage of the oil his country needs will be
coming from. And vice-versa, the seller doesn't want to upset the buyer.

Assemblée Nationale in France

#196 Post by Pelo »

Left wing and Right came From the Assemblée Nationale in France (1789) with the Montagnards and Jacobins. That is true in France, perhaps it's different in India, Cameroon or Canada.
About Trump, we have no rights to judge for who people vote In USA.
Now in most countries democrates are the right wing.. (Germany, Spane, Portugal... )
I suppose that in kingdoms, republicans are not allowed to vote.. ???

Las Vegas is reporting that many bookmakers are doing a brisk business on impeachment betting lines and odds of Trump being:

--impeached within 6 months

--impeached within 12 months

--impeached within 24 months

--impeached within 36 months

Some odds are at 48% (for impeachment) at some bookies now.

Me thinks a certain subset of humans, if you allowed them, would bet on how big a turd a person sh!ts every night if you let them provided there was some possible odds/payout involved.

I'm not surprised that impeachment was even proposed. Trump is worst president elected in modern times and even more crooked then Nixon.

False truths again.

How about looking at the present facts:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_f ... ted_States

President Obama sure had a full plate of stuff while he was in office.
Oh, they never reported this stuff in the lefty news!!

President Clinton actually got impeached
(obstruction of justice for allegedly lying under oath)
subsequently was cited for contempt of court and agreed to a five-year suspension of his Arkansas law license (1998)

President Trump has got a long way to go before you can even say he is a normal president.

I love this country

It's because of false information is how we ended up with a crook like Trump. Remember how Trump ran a scam university? Remember how somebody in his administration made up a non-existent massacre? I do.

And let's face it, border walls are useless when airplanes exist.
