surprise
That is a big surprise, too sudden and unexpected.
A tough act, Nooby. You will be missed.
But as our maker would like us to be, "Be prepared". And Nooby was exactly that.nooby wrote: she can sign in some 9 months

So sad.
I'll miss him.
I type this with tears streaming down my cheeks.
One time, I spoke with Nooby using the PuppyPhone.
He claimed his English was poor, and yet...
His English speaking was good.
We had a fun conversation well sprinkled with laughter.
Whenever I think of Nooby I feel happy, even through the tears.
He's a permanent part of my memory.
Never to be forgotten.
My wife knows of Nooby through me; I've just now told her of his death.
I didn't trust myself to speak to him direct in his main thread about his treatment.
I hope he knew I cared.

RIP Nooby. Your honesty and humility were an example of how to live. You will be missed. I am quite sad yet relieved that your long struggle is finally over. I had great respect for you and hope that your passing was peaceful.

Dear Nooby,
you will be missed. Thank you for "making it real" with your persistence and finally, your inspirational struggle with life. I feel terrible that I hadn't posted you my promised photos of natures chaotic gardens - struggles of my own intervened, and I always thought there would be time. I was sadly misguided. You lit up the forum, in so many ways.

Re: nooby past away this afternoon
He also knew, or at least I hope he knew, that he meant a lot to the members of this forum. I thank you for your kindness in letting us know and his kindness in asking you to do so.nooby wrote: This forum must have meant a lot to him.
Dear nooby's sister,
I'm sure I'm not alone in offering my deepest sympathies to you and your family.
He will not be forgotten around here for his persistent and sometimes very insightful discussions. Puppy Linux is a better OS for his involvement, even Linux as a whole. And I'm sure some of us are better people.
Thank you for passing on the news.

Hello,
Nooby was a member of my Puppy Linux Users Group on Facebook. I thought since he loved bikes, and this forum, I'd share his profile pic.
