Error 202 (net::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID) with Gmail

#1 Post by strategic_thinker »

I am using Puppy 5.2.8. Gmail does not work when I install the respective browsers with these pets.

From: http://www.diddywahdiddy.net/LupuNews/

Iron 13 -> http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pe ... cid528.pet
Chromium 16 -> http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pe ... -Lucid.pet
Google Chrome 14 -> http://distro.ibiblio.org/puppylinux/pe ... -Lucid.pet

Here is the error reported on the screen when I try to go to https://gmail.com

It happens with all the three browsers. Firefox and Opera work fine.

This has happened on 2 separate computers. A core 2 quad and a P4

Hi

I was having the same issue whereby it was not recognising any certificate providers

to solve this I went onto the package manager and selected ubuntu-lucid-main as the repository, then from there I installed libnss3-1d_3.12.6

it seems that this is not selected as a dependency but is required for HTTPS to work

Hope this helps

I am seeing this problem on Puppy 5.3.1 all of a sudden. All was well for a few days. Any equivalent for slacko ?
