Hi, e-group!
Please let me know, is there a way to delete or remove one of the desktops (workspaces)? Let's say that I would like to get rid of Desktop 2 so that Puppy Linux has one desktop only such as, let's say, Desktop 1 exclusively. This is to avoid switching back and forth from Desktop 1 to Desktop 2 and vice versa. And, yes, I know there is the "Stick" function, but this function doesn't always work on my system (I am using a LiveCD of Puppy 4.3.2). Of course, in order to keep the change, if I use a LiveCD, I would need to re-master it.

I guess the one that comes as a default on Puppy Linux 4.3.2 LiveCD (which is in turn based on Puppy Linux 4.3.1). Anyway, I would like to get rid of Desktop 2 and keep Desktop 1. This also means getting rid of the switch buttons and keep one button only (corresponding to Desktop 1).

I got it! The Window Manager is JWM, and I already set my Puppy to one desktop only. Unfortunately, the underlying problem still persists which is the fact that Seamonkey semi-dissapears (except the top bar) after some specific mouse movements. I thought that having only one desktop would solve this situation. Anyway, perhaps I will post another message to tackle this problem.

When SeaMonkey semi-disappears, try right-clicking on its top bar and choosing "Unshade." Hopefully your browser window will then reappear.
This is a JWM feature that caught me out frequently when I first started out with Puppy! (My hands shake a bit and I found that if I accidentally clicked/scrolled outside a SeaMonkey window, its window shaded and unshaded repeatedly in an alarming manner. Setting the window to full-screen allowed me to avoid this happening.)

Yes, I wasn't aware that this fact is a native function of JWM until recently. The way I dealt with this sort of "problem" was to install ICEWM...now my window doesn't semi-disappear at all even if scrolling outside the proper window. As for the full screen with JWM, I seem to recall I still had the semi-disappearance issues.
