Here is my totally reworked version of what started life as Quirky 1.2.0 NOP.
Now has loads of office apps and media, stripped out most of the standard applications.
it's been months of work on and off doing it, you know the story, no sooner think it's finished and there is new updates that you just have to have installed.
It's at 388MB now, runs well off usb on a 1.6ghz with 1gig ram.

Arrrgh! Ok Dejan, your fancy Lua Conky configs are driving me green with envy :)

How'd you do it? I've got a Conky that was compiled with lua running on my system but I can't get the Lua objects to show up when ever I use a config.... what lua5.1 are you using?

I think I got this lua package for kdpup
http://packages.debian.org/lenny/lua5.1

for lua objects... well I didn't do anything special I got config from net
http://www.webupd8.org/2011/02/try-this ... y-lua.html

and followed tut from there, just put conkyrc in /root/.conky/conkyrc and lua scripts in /root/.lua/scripts (this is how it's setup for this particular config
and start it with conky -c /root/.conky/conkyrc

I did some tweaking to move rings in different position and change color/replace logo png

Aha Dejan... thanks for replying, I think I have figured it out... the Conky I am using, while it has been compiled with Lua, the lua cairo bindings has not be compiled... that's what the problem is. I will look into this later, but thanks for cluing me into the lua version you were using...

:D Hello,
Fair enough. Here are some souls who were kind enough to keep me in firewood during my camping this year:

Good thing they are wearing their hardhats and ear protection....
