Cinerella fills entire pupsave when asked to render

#1 Post by UndeadSamurai01 »

Hi guys - turns out I have another problem. It seem that by default (unsurprisingly) cinerella uses the pupsave as the temporary storage while rendering.

Of course this filled the entire pupsave in a matter of seconds which on it's own would be a simple fix, just delete the data. Unfortunately I can't find it. I deleted the partially rendered file, but it seems that there is a cache somewhere which is takes up all free space in the pupsave. I have looked everywhere including hidden files, but I can't see it.

Does anyone know where the data would be?

I run a gigabyte motherboard
GTX 275 graphics
intel quad core 2.8gHz
6Gb 1333 RAM
1.5TB Seagate HDD
128GB Western Digital Caviar HDD

I boot puppy from a CD and I have my save file in its own 3GB FAT 32 partition on the 1.5TB HDD.

Just a guess, in /root/.cinerella?
(the point indicates a hidden file/directory)

Can you configure cinerella to use data outside the save file?
Time savers:
Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu).

Ok, problem solved, or at least half of it. It turns out the cache resets when you restart the computer.

Now I just need to figure out how to move it somewhere else. Any ideas?

The first place where I always look is in the preferences/options of an application.
