tint2 on lupq006 / tint2 on spup40 with xcompmgr enabled

800k

800k
first one is on lupq and is all pseudotrans, but xcompmgr is available and works fine.
second one is on spup40 with xcompmgr active for true transparency in tint2 and urxvt. logo is catdude's glasspup/afgs's logo.
urxvt -tr -fg white -tint gray -sh 80 -fn "xft:Bitstream Vera Sans Mono:antialias=true:pixelsize=14" -depth 32 -bg rgba:0000/0000/0000/4444
-depth 32 -bg rgba:0000/0000/0000/4444 <this switches it to true trans when xcompmgr is enabled>
note: make sure this line in /etc/profile is commented out when using argb visuals - eg xcompmgr
#==================================
#export XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1
#==================================
Tried with jwm-ver492:
It works but urxvt is not able to use true trans under jwm492. But the inactive windows use true trans by default.
Also, elements can use the opacity tag - for example the tray in .jwmrc-theme:
<TrayStyle>
<Font>Bitstream Vera Sans-14:Bold</Font>
<Foreground>white</Foreground>
<Background>#718995</Background>
<Opacity>.4</Opacity>
</TrayStyle>

The logo is very cool, but I also really like the wallpaper. Do you have a source for that?paulhomebus wrote:I like my new logo....[

As far as I can remember that beach sunrise is in the Lucid background's.
But here it is as plain file without the logo...

Nice Desktop...though I might be a little "Jay"-ded..LOL..Thx..
The text is a Gimp plugin called "Alien Glow" under "Create Logos"
On my LCD, it seems to be 3D, changing as I walk by it...
