Hello,
I updated Firefox 3.6.3 on my Lucid Puppy 5.0.1 box to 3.6.4 using Firefox's built-in update feature. After doing so, the system froze on a few occasions while using Firefox. Uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling Firefox 3.6.3 via quickpet eliminated the freeze-ups.
Anyone else have this problem on Lucid Puppy? On any other Puppy?
NOTE: I have NoScript and BetterPrivacy Add-Ons installed.
Thanks,
Jon

Did you check the special sticky thread of Lucid in the bugs section?

For that reason, I have not allowed my Puppy 4.3.1 to upgrade, until I can try it on a test pupsave first...
I ran across one report that indicated that the upgrade wiped out the bookmark file. Be sure to back this up before trying... (i.e. through the Firefox menu: Bookmarks, Organize, Export)

I'm running 3.6.4 on my frugal install of 5.0.1 with no problems. Using Adblock Plus and WOT addons.Updated with the built-in feature as well.

Update: backed up my pupsave, and then let Firefox upgrade. It thoroughly crunched the Firefox install (FF no longer runs). I recommend sticking to 3.6.3 for now (or at least make sure that you back up before trying an upgrade). This was in Puppy 4.3.1.playdayz wrote:retrotechguy, you got my dog there.
