I'm pretty sure this is way faster than pdfedit (although I've only got pdfedit in Cygwin, not puppy) and it's certainly a much better interface if you're doing document assembly type stuff.
Unfortunately this is all python based

But it's worth it!
Install:
http://www.puppylinux.ca/tpp/big_bass/python-2.5.2.pet (15.2MB)
http://www.puppylinux.ca/tpp/big_bass/p ... 2.14.1.pet
http://www.puppylinux.ca/tpp/big_bass/p ... 1.4.12.pet
http://www.puppylinux.ca/tpp/big_bass/pygtk-2.12.pet
(thanks Big Bass)
Updated poppler
(thanks MU)
updated glib
(thanks Ttuuxxx)
Libxcb or whatever this was for - extract to /usr/bin. Someone might like to pet just what we need.
(thanks craftybytes)
http://ftp.cica.es/mirrors/Linux/fedora ... 1.i586.rpm - extract poppler.so to /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/
(Thanks Fedora)
http://ftp.kaist.ac.kr/ubuntu/pool/univ ... -2_all.deb - run `ln /usr/share/python-support/python-pypdf/pyPdf /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/pyPdf`
(thanks Ubuntu)
You'll probably need http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... ch&id=8356 for at least one of those last two.
And of course the latest pdfshuffler from http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfshuffler/files/
Perhaps someone would like to make an .sfs of all this

BTW please send me a personal message if I've missed a dependency.
N.B. if you're running Puppy with Colinux (AFAIK I'm the only one doing this currently) it will probably display pages all black... not sure why.
---EDIT---

Sorry everyone. I accidentally linked to the wrong poppler upgrade. Fixed now.
