kernal failure to sync

#1 Post by plaffey »

When booting from live CD (this CD works find on a different PC) I get a messages stating that the kernal has failed to sync. At that point the PC freezes. How do I fix this.
The machine that I am try this on is a old pc pentium 1 32 mb ram with a CD drive 120Mb hard drive. Using puppy 3.0

Try burning another puppy CD and double check that it's not a CD problem. Your other cdrom might be more picky.

Kernel sync problems aside, with 32M of RAM, I'm afraid you're not going to be terribly pleased with Puppy's performance on that machine.
