Sound in VirtualBox (SOLVED)

Hello!

I have installed VirtualBox 1.6.4 in my Puppy 2.17 and it works great, running winxp, except the sound. I have tried all the combinations and with SoundBlaster XP wont see it at all, with the AC97 it is found but there is no driver for it. I tried download a realtek driver but it made windows crash.

Any ideas?

Have you enabled sound in the settings for the virtual machine? I believe puppy 217 uses Alsa, thats what worked for me.

yes, I tried all different settings in vbox... Windows finds a sound device and its listed in device manager but no driver is found.

It's working now. Just had to make a reinstallation of windows.
