Initial Impressions
So Far, very awesome! Have been a Slacko 5.7 user , now 6.3.0 looks great, even as we get more and more use out of it. Works nice with the dev package, Runs Libreoffice, QUCS and the Arduino IDE , and very impressed with all the built-in enhancements. Is a successor to 6.3.0 planned for the future?

It Works!
Thanks, Semme
bison-2.7-i486 did exactly what it should have.
Question: Where did you get the source for this and did you compile this in gcc ? I had tried that with bison-2.6.1 and compiled it for i686. I wonder if that was the mistake? Your bison-2.7-i486 allowed compilation of qucs.

Trying to Upgrade Bison
Compiling In Slacko 5.7, frugal install.
The devx_slacko_5.7.sfs version I installed seems to have bison-2.5.1. I need to use bison-2.6+ to compile qucs. I made a bison-2.6.1-i686.pet from new2dir and dir2pet , installed it and the terminal still reads bison 2.5.1 for the version.
Any suggestions ...

Qucs on Racy Puppy
Sorry about the absence, folks. Qucs/Asco runs fine right out of the box on Racy 5.2.2. On other versions of Puppy 5 (Wary,Lucid and Slacko) it seemed to need muggins symlink above.
Also, not directly related to Qucs on Racy 5.2.2, my Acer Aspire with Intel HD video, a screen resolution setting of ...

Inkscape 0.47 On Puppy 4.2.1
Here is the screen shot after installation on 4.2.1 . I only included the missing dependency list. Inkscape 0.45 was great, but it was time for an upgrade. Thanks for making the effort to package Inkscape 0.47 !

Inkscape On Puppy 4.2.1
The version ttuuxxx suggested (0.45.1 static) works perfectly on versions I have tested (4.0 ,4.1.2, 4.2.1) but the latest 0.47 giving some issues (some deps, I see) on Puppy 4.2.1. Hmmm...
In any case 0.45.1 static is still highly useful once you get to know it better.

Yes,
Count me in too. The full version has capabilities I can't find in the lite version. Nice to have as an add on dotpet. Yes, it's mucho larger.

Weird CD Boot/ pupsave Problem
Weird pupsave on USB problem:
Hello All:
Firstly, the new apps and everything looks great to me on Puppy 430 and ttuuxx's 4.3.1.
I am trying to use pup-430.iso (and its varients), booting off the CD and using
a pupsave.2fs file on a 16G USB Patriot XT Flash Drive. (Formatted fat32)

Qucs?Asco RF Microwave
Qucs with Asco is intended for nodal analysis and does not have any E/M capability as such. There are other projects in SourceForge that are addressing E/M. The circuit simulation results I have obtained with Qucs compare very favorably with Agilent ADS, Ansoft Designer and Microwave Office. It may ...

Puppy 4.2
Nice Job Warren! An incredible feat pulling off a really fine Community Edition! No idea why we keep coming back to do these type of things. We just do. I'll just keep writing with some (relatively simple) programs and crank out the next version.

devx 4.2?
I knew there was something I forgot to ask.
Is there a devx 4.2.sfs somewhere? If not, is it possible
to substitute previous devx ?
Thanks!

Puppy 4.2 Finale
All this and less than 100Meg !
Who would have thought this much functionality could fit in that size?
Just Amazing. Going for the full install right now.
Congrats to the team!
