It is because LXPup doesn't come with these other desktop managers pre-installed, okie? This is why when you type: "xwin startkde" KDE does not start up - you must install it.

The best way of doing so is by going to http://sourceforge.net/projects/checkmatelxde/files/Desktop ...

All of them downloaded fine for me - and I'm using SeaMonkey v2.20 from Precise-5.7.1. :)
