Ok, problem solved, or at least half of it. It turns out the cache resets when you restart the computer.
Now I just need to figure out how to move it somewhere else. Any ideas?

Hi guys - turns out I have another problem. It seem that by default (unsurprisingly) cinerella uses the pupsave as the temporary storage while rendering.

No, the save file is only 1.7GB (because it says not to make it larger than 1.8). I just meant that it is alone on the partition. I was unsure how it would deal with having it's save file on an ntfs formatted partition, so I made the 3GB FAT32. Are you sure there is enough room in the save file ...
