Eth0 Network Problems In Remastered Live Disk
I am trying to remaster my Quirky 1.2 live disk using the "Remaster Puppy Live CD" script from Quirky 1.2. The remastered disk does not connect properly to the internet at bootup. The blinky shows activity, but I can't connect to servers on the internet until after I use the Connect Wizard. With ...

LUPU-501 "Forgets" Network Configuration
I've noticed that if I leave my computer (HP Pavilion a1213w-b, Lupu-501) connected to the internet and left idle for a few hours, Lupu-501 seems to "forget" its network configuration. The "Blinky" shows activity, but I can't connect to any site on the internet. Rerunning the Puppy Network Wizard ...

Dougal's Remaster
Dougals remaster script (latest version) borks the package manager. I dont know how to fix it but the work around is to back up the hidden directory /root/.packages before remaster, then restore from the back up after. (you can use renaming instead if you wish).

Lucid Puppy 5.0
I think its great! Congratulations to the design team on a beautiful and professional product. Booting from live disk here, and everything LUPU has worked as it should. I have added all my favorite pets and remastered using Dougal's Pupremaster, as modified by Panzerkopf.
That said, I do have ...

4.3 Remaster
Hi musher0,
The SFS naming problem has been corrected. See "Remastering 4.3 Final with Dougal's Pupremaster" http:www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=46739 . Also, with this script you don't have to manually move files from root to /tmp/root like you do with the BK script to carry your added ...

Pupremaster Modifications
Thanks for reworking Pupremaster, guys! I Just downloaded Panzerkopfs's script and tried it on Stardust-013. The remastered CD worked perfectly! I've been frustrated that I haven't been able to get CUPS to work right after remastering using the remaster script in Stardust (and manually moving files ...

Mike,
Great job with Bruno. One issue though -- Bruno won't allow me to set up my printer, which is connected to the parallel port. Parallel port is not presented as an option in the cups setup sequence. I have had this happen when I remaster other puppies -- the original disk presents the parallel ...

Printing After Remastering
Like the look and feel of Stardust-012. Very nice.
If I remaster Stardust-012 (and 010 also) I find I cannot print using my parallel printer. Message is "Printer not connected..." This only happens on remastered disks. If I save to the hard drive, printing is normal. Not sure if this is a bug or ...
