Pet for QGIS please!

Have any one ever gotten QGIS to work in Puppy Linux?
If yes can that person please write a pet file for it?
I really need it, and have tried my best the past five years to get it to work on Puppy Linux, with out any success! Maybe I am just not geeky enouth!
I am using Slacko 5.7.
