where to find libudev.so.0

I've just tried installing guvcview-1.4.4.pet along with the dependency package guvcview_dependencies-1.4.4.pet

Unfortunately there still seems to be a dependency missing - libudev.so.0

I have downloaded the full library tar ball posted in this topic earlier, but don't see it listed there.

Can someone help me to find libudev.so.0 please?

libudev.so.0 is a symlink to libudev.so.0.6.1 the latter is placed in directory /lib.
You can find libudev.so.0.6.1 in /lib. And if libudev.so.0.6.1 was here then you can make a symlink to it

Thanks for the tip - but I don't seem to have libudev.so.0.6 either. Where can I get that from?
