As a newbie it wasn't obvious how to get mtpaint to print.
I found using "lpr %f" with my printer set to server default worked. However, it doesn't give a dialogue box to set scale etc.
I contacted the developer and he said
"A dialog box can be added by user, if so desired, by configuring the
"Print" action to use a GUI printing tool, such as "gtklp" (
http://gtklp.sourceforge.net ) which is more-or-less standard on
Puppy, and should be installable through 5.1's package manager."
I'm not sure how to do this "gtklp" is not reconised in the terminal and does not come up in puppy package search.
Any help much appreciated ; -)
Printing with mtPaint
default is kprint. I didn't know about gtklp until this thread. gtklpq is the printer queue (shows jobs...).darkcity wrote:Thanks for the heads up.
I will update the wiki - to mention no need to download gtklp in slacko.
Is mtpaint configured to use gtklp in Slacko or is the print option still defaulted to kprint?
Also what is gtklpq?
I've updated the wiki-

seems making default in Slacko would make 'the experience smootha for the user'

seems making
