Puppy-based web server went from root to NOBODY!

I've been running a Web server on Puppy 4.1 for more than a year with no issues. Today, all my scripts that require write permissions failed. The file is created but never populated with data. The user name has switched to nobody from root. I have not done anything but turned on my computer today. I rebooted and still the same. Any suggestions to make things 'right' would be greatly appreciated. -Mark

Do you have a hardware problem.
