Even to Bugman when he says 'Humbug'
in his best scroogian accent?

Of course.

Even those who don't celebrate Christmas?
(for example The Grinch, Buddhists and Sith)

Of course.

Happy Christmas One and All :D

It is important to remember the Spirit of Christmas
Which for me is probably Drambuie, Advocat or Baileys
I think I might have to make an egg nog
- which I am not sure what it is - but is probably delicious.

However for those who feel the Spirit is something more
than an intoxicant - I wonder what it is?
I have lit a candle and put on incense.
Maybe I will do something gratuitously kind.

More clues welcome :)
Whilst we await that - a joke:
Three men died on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint Peter at the pearly gates.

"In honor of this Holy season," Saint Peter said, "you must each possess something that symbolizes Christmas to get into heaven."

The first man fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a lighter. He flicked it on. "It represents a candle," he said.

"You may pass through the pearly gates," Saint Peter said.

The second man reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He shook them and said, "they're bells.

Saint Peter said, "You may pass through the pearly gates."

The third man started searching desperately through his pockets and finally pulled out a pair of women's panties. St. Peter looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked, "And just what do those symbolize?"

The man replied, "These are Carols."

Merry Christmas to all the Puppians.
Have a great holiday. Don't eat too much dinner though.
And all the best for the New year.

Look after those puppies now.

Politically and Theologically Correct Holiday Wishes

#5 Post by tubeguy »

Please accept without obligation, expressed or implied, these best wishes for an environmentally safe, socially responsible, low stress, and non addictive celebration of the winter solstice holiday as practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice (but with respect for the religious or secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or for their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all) and further for a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated onset of the generally accepted calendar year (including, but not limited to, the Christian calendar, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures).

The preceding wishes are extended without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith, choice of computer platform or operating system, or sexual preference of this wishee's intended recipients.

Without Prejudice
wishee's intended recipients
In regard to and compliant with the afore-mentioned Document of Seasonal Greetings dated 25 Inst. 2009 (hereinafter referred to as "The Document"), it has come to one's attention that the following possibly dubious semantic errors may exist inter alia.

The term "wishee" as here used in the Objective, or alternatively described as in the grammatically defined Accusative Case per se, whereas he correct usage context of this term should be as per the Subjective, or Nominative Case (i.e. "Wishor") sine dei.

For and on behalf of the Board of Grammatical Correction and Rehabilitation, Dec 2009

Signed

A.B. Smithers-Ballox B.A., A.B, C.D, M.b.t.N (Dr)

season's greetings?

Dave Barry wrote:In the old days, it was not called the Holiday Season; the Christians called it 'Christmas' and went to church; the Jews called it 'Hanukka' and went to synagogue; the atheists went to parties and drank. An artificial tree and ornaments, while quite nice, consume
valuable closet space in the off season.

A "Festivus pole" requires no adornment and serves double-
duty as a closet rod after the holidays.

It's also impervious to climbing cats. :)

Oh,..yes, yes!! That looks just great. And if we feel quite in the mood to celebrate even more,....the pole could perhaps also qualify for something in the area of (shall we say) "pole-dancing"....???? .... Just saying.
