more than one full install

can i make 2 full installs on a partitioned hard drive and see both in grub?
i want to use 4.12 puppy cause the radeon driver works best there. but i want to play with the extension 4 file system in 4.3.1 build. i hear it reads/writes to disk faster. i get some of this and other stuff i don't, thanks for any help, john

Yes.....just make a partition for each......
I'm not sure how the installer handles grub in this situation but your second entry would be like the first but pointing to the other partition. You could post on here if you need help with setting that up manually (ie not running the grub installer)
