download from news page

I've been wondering about this for a very long time...
When you go to the news page on the puppy site, in the Bar o' Links across the top there is no button to go to the download page. (The Links button is also missing, but I never missed that one as much.) It's been like this as long as I can remember (which would be fall of last year)...is there a particular reason why, that I'm not seeing? Or just a random thing?
