hi,

Puppy rocks! d=(^o^)=b

I just tried it for the first time on a machine I am using for testing and it just worked...cool....I am going to try the usb boot from home tonight....

I would very much like to try a customised update of puppy with Icecast2 on it...this could be nice for making old hardware into simple audio streaming servers which is a useful re-deployment for many especially small media labs...

I was wondering if there is any reason why this wouldnt work? (before I start banging my head against the wall ;) ...and if so, any pointers on how to go about it?

regards,

adam

:)

It would be possible. Gxine is very good (from my experience) and GuesTtoo recently created a player for movies - mplayer I think it is.

Do not bang your head against the wall. There might come a time when you need that wall . . .
