The question is not very comprehensive

If you want to put sound on a video file there's ffmpeg

Ask your search engine :

Code: Select all

ffmpeg mux audio video

¿?

As Fabrice_035 said, the question is not very comprehensive, but I used a very simple program to put pics on a video or sound.

It's called AI2VID

Is this a device you can connect to your box?
I have a wav file from usb source.
WiFi from where? A phone? If yes, SPECIFY this phone.
Also a mpg file from wifi, no ip address known.

If the files are visible in Rox, just click on them. That should open a player that will play either kind of file in Puppy.

You have something similar to this, correct? You'll likely need "guvcview" to view the transmission.

guvcview is already installed in Bionicpup64 8.0.
menu->Multimedia->

If the video device is detected, it should just startup, showing the image being produced by device.
A window, with all kinds of settings, will also pop up.
The already default setup should work, unless you find something in the image needs adjusted.
I found only small adjustments needed. Too much adjusting can make image not visible

This program works great with my laptop camera.

gucview defaults to laptop camera, can't see how to change it. The F99 is similar,but much later model with different and unknown syntax for my setup.
no user manual. tried the user manualfor new model,gives ideasbutold versionn/a apparently.

So what you're really asking in this thread is how to view the output of this camera?

yes, that's what I want. i'm stilla noob,don't know much. pls advise how to on a laptop, with lappy cam 2nd choice?
edit #1
camera has 2 vendors and product ID's. one prob camera and on LED's

0X1908:0x2311 0x5c8:0x22a

can I patch the device id into gucview or other (library?) to make it recognisable?

In this guvcview settings->Video Controls window.

device: selection drop down
Does it offer only the laptop camera?

If yes.
Pupsysinfo->Devices->Input
Is it listing the borescope as a device?
If yes.
Post what it gives for info.

thank you,it works. had to interpret the menus, but found it. do wish updating left item names the same. renaming just increases the mental load I have to carry.
