Internet Fusion and Jazz Rock stations?

Hi.

I like different kinds of music (except: Techno, Rap, HipHop, Schlager) but I'm looking for something specific. Instrumental music like Fusion and Jazz Rock plus something in that direction - no vocals if possible.

So, anyone here who can suggest some internet radio stations for this kind of music?

Thanks.

Hi, and thanks for the links.

Eivizzards and Bryan Savage wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Though, nice to listen to it.

On https://www.accuradio.com/jazz/ I listened to some songs. Few minutes ago they are playing Pat Metheny, which I like sometimes. Need to listen to some more from accuradio. Right now they're playing some piano jazz, which is not one of my favorites.

While searching the web for some good radio stations I found this: http://musiclake.com/listen/. Also not exactly what I was looking for, but there was some really good music. Found Scott Reich, Interbeing and Steve Orchard, Astral Traveller very interesting.

From Scott Reich, Interbeing they played two songs. It will be published in July 2020. I think I'm going to buy the Album when published.

Ok, what I was exactly looking for is stuff like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcxzG5z ... 1q&index=4 :D

Edit:

Aaahhhhh!

Right now I stumbled over "Movie Soundtracks" on accuradio. There's a category of "Star Trek" music. Listening to it, recording it. I like the music from Star Trek as much as the movies and series itself. They always had great composers.

Unfortunately this has changed when the new movies appeared. There's just too much digital and much too much music that isn't really Soundtrack. Also they repeat songs from movie to movie. Not good!

Yes, Jeff Beck is also great. Even Mike Stern, Marcus Miller, Miles, Zappa and all his musicians, more the older stuff from Alan Parsons, plus Allan Hinds, Steve Hillage, Gong, Arjen Anthony Lucassen, Art of Noise, Bruford, Yes, Bonamassa, Cobham, Dio and Sabbath, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Bob Seger, Camel, Satriani, Steve Vai, Curtis Mayfield, Dean Brown, ELP, BTO, Eric Leeds, Eric Burdon, Hattler, Kraan, Jean Luc Ponti, Johnny Winter, Jonas Hellborg, Jukka Tolonen, Ketil Björnstad, Little Feat, Long Distance Calling, Kansas, Manu Katche, Molly Hatchet, Neil Morse, Frampton, Popa Chubby, Primus, Sons of Liberty, Steps Ahead, Nugent, Tingvall Trio, Tony Joe White, Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Trombone Shorty, Warren Haynes, Weather Report, Will Calhoun, Yello and ZZTop - to just to name a few from my collection of more than 640 different musicians and artists. :D

If it's not something like Saturday Night Fever etc., then Movie music to me has to be orchestral music.

Will have a look at Warmer. Don't know it by now. Still listening to Star Trek's music.

"Islands of the Orient" << MOVIE MUSIC!

The album itself is highly mood specific but great when you're relaxing in the bathtub.

@ Rainer:-

Take a look at RadioTunes. Fair selection of genres here; I've had an a/c for 4 or 5 years now, and barely scratched the surface.....jazz & reggae are my main passions, and I've not really explored the site much further.

Worth a look, perhaps.

Unless things have changed, no.....but without an a/c you get interrupted every 15 minutes for 5 minutes of advertising. At least, that's how it used to work.

I don't listen to my channels on-line. With an a/c, you can combine your favourites into a .pls stream, which you can then listen to with any compatible media player. My favourite for this is DeaDBeeF; it has an awesome equalizer - though Fred's DogRadio runs it a pretty close second.

(You can't do this without an account "key". If you try, it just repeats a message over & over that you're attempting to do something that's not allowed.....and re-directs you to the site to 'upgrade' your a/c.)

It's around £7/month.....about 8 Euros, I think..? Personally, I think it's worth it; I get unlimited access to music that I like (with no interruptions) whenever I want.....for as long as I want.

Thanks for the info.
I think I will try to listen to it without having an account first.

However: I encountered a problem when recording. The sound playing is clear without any noises. But the recorded tracks sounding like being very old LP records. Made some testings to record music that's playing by the computer (e.g. ALSA Player) and recording to Audacity. No noises. The recorded tracks are as clear as the played original. Only when recording from browser's radio station it sounds like the old LP records.

Will have to record directly to tape and mix down after recording sessions. :(
