Bionic 8.0 32 bit PPM hangs

Has anyone else had problems with PPM hanging at check_deps.sh? I'm seeing this on some petget sessions and not others, and haven't been able to discern a pattern yet. When it happens, I have to kill the check_deps.sh process to clear the hangup.

It's Bionic 8.0 32 bit, full installation.

The latest ISO for me as well. Seems to hang on "ubuntu.edge...."
