In all honesty, TeamViewer has become a bit of a 'has-been' as far as Puppy's concerned.

I took over building the packages from cimarron for a time; while they were still using the Windoze version, running under WINE, it was easy enough to build. As soon as they switched to using Qt5, it turned into an absolute sodding nightmare.

666philb, Bionicpup64's builder, has managed to get it downloading, installing & working, though trying to use it is something of an interesting excercise..... Drop-outs & crashes are the order of the day now.

Many of us have switched to using AnyDesk, if you need to communicate in that way with people outside the 'Puppy-sphere'; it's much, much smaller, is easy to modify for Pup's use, and works just as well.

If you want a purely Puppy 'product', there's Smokey01's magnificent BackSeatDriver, which does everything the others can do for around 3 MB all-in.

You can find references/links to both of the above here (along with some others):-

Anydesk is also much simpler to build purely as a 'portable' item. You can find the latest 64-bit build of AnyDesk, v5.5.4, as an AppImage, here:-

.....or as a self-extracting script, here:-

Recently I have used AnyDesk as a replacement for the Teamviewer hassles.
