Franz is a free messaging app / former Emperor of Austria and combines chat & messaging services into one application. Franz currently supports Slack, WhatsApp, WeChat, HipChat, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Google Hangouts, GroupMe, Skype and many more. You can download Franz for free for Mac & Windows. And Linux :

Click above link for installation procedure. It is very well explained, but it is only for 64-bit systems. Puppy, as well as Dog users, should be able to install and use it.
