Precise Puppy version 5.7.1, how to switch to 12 hour clock?

#1 Post by jbander »

I'm in the US so the 24 hour clock isn't used here and of course I then find in confusing. Thanks.

I don't have pupclockset--my choices are psync time server sync, set date and time, set hardware clock type, set timezone. I've tried multiple ways and I reboot to a 24 hour clock

Were you able to set it to 12 hour AM/PM but it reverts back to 24 hour time when you reboot?

You need to edit /root/.jwmrc-tray

Change

Code: Select all

<Clock format="%H:%M">minixcal</Clock>
to

Code: Select all

<Clock>minixcal</Clock>
Then restart JWM (in console with command jwm -restart or from Menu > Shutdown > Restart JWM)
