[off topic] bringing interface / forward eth0 to wlan0

#1 Post by fabrice_035 »

Hi,

Hard way to explain / Difficult has to explain

1) My computer run with last tarhup, connected to internet with wlan0
2) I want sniffing my android phone
3) i can't bring eth0 and wlan0 (i think hardware not compatible), result : i can't use my computer as hotspot

4) i have a linksys wrt 55ag available, actually not used

My idea, the android phone has to connect linksys (wifi) , linksys connected to computer eth0, eth0 forward to wlan0.

Question : ip address of eth0 need to same network ?
Actually wlan0 as 192.168.1.x , gateway 192.168.1.1

Can you help me, any idea please ?

I have installed mitmproxy and cert in android phone, but some packets keep not visible.

Regard.

You can use your computer as a hotspot using shareinternet.pet (thread, website)

However, it may make it so that you can't find devices on your local negwork by hostname. So for instanes if you are using synergy then connect your devices befofe sharing your connection and I'm not sure what to do about chromecast.
