How to make a Puppy screensaver look like Windows'?

#1 Post by thesun »

I am trying to camouflage my Puppy (running at work) by making it look like Win7. I've got a fairly good desktop but the moment the screensaver comes on it's very obvious that something other than Win7 is running. I'd like to use this attached image as the "screensaver" (just to lock the screen). But Xscreensaver doesn't run because it can't run as root, and the other "Screener" screensaver option doesn't seem to allow for users to choose their images.

Can anyone suggest an alternative way to make this happen? Thank you!

That image was small. I have a larger version that would be used in the real screensaver...just trying for a visual in the post. Hope that makes sense!! :-)
