How to print with a networked HP laserjet printer?

I'm running Puppy Linux 6.3 32 Bit from an 8GB USB key on a Lenovo T60p Thinkpad.
I need to learn how to print to an HP Laserjet 4MP connected to a desktop computer via parallel cable which is running Windows XP SP3. This desktop computer has a wired connection to my router.
I've done some preliminary investigation and have come upon the CUPS server method-this looks a little complicated for this newbie.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your prompt response Wognath. Looks like I know what I'm going to be doing for the next several hours...
Linux developers really need to work on taming the beast of software/hardware installation-very difficult to adapt to this type of environment after being spoiled in the Windows environment.
I shall report my results.
