conky 1.9 two-liner
wmx-8 "noir2"
st "bisque" supporting SoX play
plus wrapper for qiv and less
Nobile and Peignot fonts
A great pianist playing some blues
Background borrowed from Moat's fabulous ChloePup-R27
bmpanel2 with Light-T theme at bottom.
Sprinkle a bit of magic powder over every item; let marinate 6 hours.
Then tip-toe back in and snap your fingers!
Tah-dah!

Features an eclectic mix of minimalistic Openbox, LxPanel, and Thunar File Manager. Plays the opening notes of The Star Spangled Banner on startup. Plays the closing notes on shutdown.
I was searching for Puppy Linux Check Mate (loaded), and US patriot was beside. Pas une mauvaise trouvaille,
