Hello, Puppus Dogfellow.
Yep, "tok-tok" icons. Glad you enjoyed the little Penguin joke! TWYL

Sorry it took so long. I didn't forget!
It has apparently been too long to edit my post, so here it is, the conky configs for my previously posted neon goodness!
Requires a Conky 1.7 + to display the image and certain things correctly, the 1.6 didn't do it.
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=48725
And giving credit where credit is due, that wonderful neon puppy face was made by stevoomba.
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 824f9edcba Best icon ever

And the basic design/layout, and much of the actual positioning of things comes from PinguyOS.

I recently discovered
Iguleder's GuyDog, and found it runs much better on my old Thinkpad X24 (256M RAM) than the Lupu 5.1 I had been using, even with GuyDog's better features (Openbox, tint2, wbar). A big thank you to Iguleder (also to dejan555 for the wallpaper concept).
These are thumbnails, click to view larger. The theme is
Owl Light.
Faenza icons, and I replaced the stock GTK icons with Faenza action icons. Figured out how to autohide wbar (set unfocused alpha to 0).

Yep, it's portable!
I just tried it on my wary 5.5!
Great job, carenrose!

OK, so it sounds like you take compton and add it to a lightweight WM/DE and then it can do fancy stuff that the WM/DE wouldn't ordinarily be able to do...
Neat!
What WM/DE are you using it in, in your screenshot?

Hi, josejp2424.
This "compton" makes a very nice picture indeed. But all the filenames and menus are blurry. Do you not find it more difficult for the eyes -- to operate your Puppy, I mean?
Also, with this compton, can you have, say, only a shadow on the window border? Or does the entire screen have to become "shadowy"?
Thanks in advance and best regards.

Yes, this is the future of GUI for apps and operating systems.
All do come by default using 100% transparency!
Love it!
