Which Puppy?
Which momanager?

LxPup 14.10. I don't know which version of momanger it is. There is no info, only date of last update - 140326.

Hi martyj,

Momanager does not have version numbers. So, the date of publication is ...the version number.

See the "official (momanager) language packs" thread in this forum section, page 14 and 15, to read about a problem with your "version" of MM. And download the latest (mm-20141123) to solve it.

Yes, updating momanager like you just did, will solve another problem, that was in momanager.
I did not expect it would solve your problem with the menu categories, for which I don't have a solution.

All I can say is, when I started translating I was advised to stick to an official Puppy to do the translation in. It could be LxPup 14.10 has a different way of organizing the menu categories, as it is based on LXDE. This is just a guess though :(

In general Puppy Precise 5.7.1 and 5.7.2 have proven to be the most reliable for translation work. Many other Pups are less geared towards internationalisation.

Hope a guru will come along to help you further...

Well, nevermind, I'll try it in Precise 5.7.2, no problem. I thought it is related to momanger. Anyway I prefer LXDE, so I hope there will be a solution for this in future. Thanks
