I doubt that I live more than what the statistics say but who know
But as our maker would like us to be, "Be prepared". And Nooby was exactly that.

A tough act, Nooby. You will be missed.

So sad. :(

I'll miss him.

I type this with tears streaming down my cheeks.

One time, I spoke with Nooby using the PuppyPhone.
He claimed his English was poor, and yet...
His English speaking was good.
We had a fun conversation well sprinkled with laughter.
Whenever I think of Nooby I feel happy, even through the tears.

He's a permanent part of my memory.
Never to be forgotten.
My wife knows of Nooby through me; I've just now told her of his death.

I didn't trust myself to speak to him direct in his main thread about his treatment.
I hope he knew I cared.

Sorry to hear this, wasn't expecting to get that news so soon.

Maybe we could have another Off-topic subsection called "Nooby's Corner" or something. Any posts that don't include a mention of frugal installs to NTFS partitions will be immediately deleted. Apart from that, anything goes.

Dear Nooby,
you will be missed. Thank you for "making it real" with your persistence and finally, your inspirational struggle with life. I feel terrible that I hadn't posted you my promised photos of natures chaotic gardens - struggles of my own intervened, and I always thought there would be time. I was sadly misguided. You lit up the forum, in so many ways.
Three Cheers

Dear nooby's sister,

I'm sure I'm not alone in offering my deepest sympathies to you and your family.

He will not be forgotten around here for his persistent and sometimes very insightful discussions. Puppy Linux is a better OS for his involvement, even Linux as a whole. And I'm sure some of us are better people.

Thank you for passing on the news.

nooby, see on the other side.

Hello,
Nooby was a member of my Puppy Linux Users Group on Facebook. I thought since he loved bikes, and this forum, I'd share his profile pic.
