Wow Thanks for putting in the extra work! I know start up was alittle strange on that one, because it asked me to configure something, I just left it for what it was set for.

Thanks for the offer but testing any Linux system other then turning it on and moving the mouse around is over my head. Unless you want to see how badly someone can mess it up. I’ll add the download to my list of ones to try. Can’t hurt to try them when the computer doesn’t have anything special in it. Have to wait until after mikeslr test what they want to as well.

Oh I wish I had more then 1 USB stick. Be so much easier to switch programs around.

If the USB stick is 8GB or bigger you can put multiple Puppy frugal installs on it.
An 8GB one should be able to hold about 8 Puppies.
1GB of space for each one.

Just do frugal installs to the USB stick.
Yapi will install Grub4dos as a boot loader.
(just make sure to select the USB stick as the place to install to. Yapi will start Grub4dos Config with the USB stick already selected.)
When Grub4dos Bootloader Config runs it will make a boot menu entry for anything it finds on the USB stick.
I have a 32GB USB stick with 15 different Puppies on it.

Note:
If you can place the Puppy iso on a different storage device.
The hard drive.
The install to USB stick will go faster.
Having the Puppy iso on the USB stick and installing to the USB stick. Makes it have to copy to ram and then install to the stick. You can not read and write at the same time.
With the iso on the hard drive it is read from one and write to the other. That can be done at the same time.
