Ah, run my script or use a "lowercase" L when running lsmod.

Is that a save "file" or "folder" you made?

File or folder?

As for lsmod, type it in: lsmod > ~/lsmod.txt and mind your spacing..

Looks OK I think, but gotta step out. Might be back later some time after giving this some thought..

"I'm using a Core 2duo E6750 with no harddrive, and a Realtek R8169 Gigabit ethernet controller.

When I start Puppy from the CD the first time, all is fine, but after I make a savefile on USB stick with heavy encryption, and reboot from the CD plus the savefile, there is no internet connection any more.

SNS shows the previous connection created, but when I click "connect now", it says "no interfaces are active".

When I try Network Wizzard, it says there is no driver loaded. When I try to do it manually, no driver can be loaded, even with auto-probe.

I have exactly the same problem all puppies I tried: Tahrpup 6.0.5, Tahrpup64 6.0.5, and Slacko 6.3 32b

In Hardware Information, the Realtek shows on the list.."

Quick questions..

Was the install to USB via your Pup disk?

Did Pup handle the formatting or was another OS/program used?

Which brand of stick?
