Pale Moon 27.3.0
That video plays Ok for me.

I have no plugins or extensions in this Pale Moon, so it is using HTML5 to play videos.

If you have Flash Player active in Plugins. Try disabling it.

Pale Moon 27.3.0 on TahrPup 6.0.6
Can you try this one?

That one plays too. I have the latest Flash installed, but it makes no difference whether the plugin is enabled or disabled -- either way, the video plays fine for me.

It comes with PaleMoon browser.
If you use PaleMoon it can be easily kept updated by using the
menu->Internet->Palemoon-updater.

Quickpet link

This one works:
http://ftp.nluug.nl/ftp/pub/os/Linux/di ... r/kernels/
Thanks Ledster.

Just built a Tahr 6.0.6 32 bit PAE using these woofce instructions. First time worked for me (a long time since I last tried) and I used all the defaults choices. Only non default choice was choice of kernel out of 25 or so choices. I had no idea as to which to choose so I went for something like the 3rd choice which is kernel 3.12.22. Generally working great, so can't see a need to change that, but did notice that the change kernel quickpet link that you highlighted was broken (404 not found).

The build took around 1 to 1.5 hours or so. Short and easy enough IMO to periodically update everything to the latest versions.

If its the same for the 32 bit version as the 64 bit tahr, if you have Palemoon set to run as spot then using that upgrade method results in that being lost (reverts to running as root). The fix for that is to menu, setup, quicksetup first run and reset palemoon to run as root then reset again to run as spot.

lsof -i is the limited busybox in Puppy, if you install the full version of lsof from ppm and run lsof -i in a terminal whilst palemoon is running it will show what userid palemoon is running under.

Hello.

What driver (and where) should I look for this graphics card:
ATI Radeon 9250/9200, AGP, 128MB, VGA + S-VHS
xorgwizard will not give usable picture.
Appears to work OOTB with BodhiLinux, unfortunately I don't remember
the passwords for it to dig deeper.

PS. the model name: Radeon 9250/9200 or "9200 series" is from WinXP properties :(
One of the few cards that fits this computer casing.. for height.

I am afraid that AGP based graphics cards do not work well with Tahrpup, due to KMS(kernel mode setting) which is a default on Tahrpup.

So, I still use Puppy 4 series and Lupu 528 on ThinkPad T42, whose video card is ATI Radeon Mobility 7500.

just got this palemoons segfault after less than 10 minutes browsing:

Can anyone help me get a Chromium-based browser functional on Tahr?

Using 32bit Tahr on my HP laptop, *any* chromium-based browser crashes the system. Be it Slimjet, Chrome or Chromium, it will sometimes run for 10 seconds or so, sometimes instantly will blank the screen, permanently.

I can type 'reboot' and the system reboots (but I can't see what I type).
This happens before or after downloading the bugfixes, with .pet installs or sfs installs, there's no change.

Any way to get one of these browsers working? It makes it easier to stream my music and watch videos on bitchute.com which doesn't work in Palemoon.

Many thanks,
Greg

PS No such problems on Tahr64 on my desktop

thanks watchdog .

I guess it's change a little, looked into /initrd/pup_rw/ but found no clues.
I did find a wh. file in /opt/palemoon, deleted it, rebooted - but did not unhide palemoon.

Iv'e copied palemoon from a fresh save file into to my save folder but it's too messy for my liking - no menu entry, no default browser option to set to palemoon and no palemoon updater has been un-hidden.
