If you believe it is gone then you are pretty naive.
Better just to use DuckDuckGo and be done with it
Later when they get so big they can make a buck by selling your searches move to a smaller startup and keep doing it

Anyone that monitors online traffic will have it recorded - and trying to remove it will just draw security people's attention to it.

Is that collected while logged in?

And how to delete data they aggretaed on you whilst being logged out?

Google only collects data from ANY Google product not just searches, though searches were the topic here.
NSA/GCHQ collects all telecommunication data whatever the source or topic.

DuckDuckGo guarantee not to track you or record your searches for what that's worth so I use them by preference. You cant beat Tor and Tails for anything personal you want to look at . Tor browser is available on Puppy via Quickpet precise for those who don't know.

DuckDuckGo were linked to the CIA.

I read that years ago.

2 searches...under a minute.

Ixquick is best.

Plus D & G is a crap search engine anyway.
