Why is grub4dos not in Werewolf?

#1 Post by Moji »

I have just installed Puppy werewolf 7.4 and found it very beautiful but grub4dos is not in it. I couldn't boot from hard disk because of lack of grub. I had to install grub via an other version of Puppy. Now I can boot werewolf and my problem is solved but I ask myself why grub4dos is not in werewolf just like former versions of Puppy.

I had to install grub via an other version of Puppy.
On the Forum Utilities there is a nice program called: gnewpet.

Install this program and execute it.
Activate option to re-build a package from builtin files and let it create a grub4dos.pet package.
Next time you can just install this package.

"you only wanted to work your Puppies in German", "you are a separatist in that you want Germany to secede from Europe" (musher0)

No, but I gave my old drum kit away for free to a music store collecting instruments for refugees!
